Well, this database was formed primarily out of necesity once the actual vore.nu database finally went offline. It started off extremely simple (and hasn't come far since then!), no theming or colors of any kind while testing was being done. After a week or so of coding, if memory serves, the first users and characters were added in while I added a bit of CSS and coloring here and there to make it slightly less stressful to look at. Not TOO much has changed, for the most part the news section details the primary changes done to the database, but for the most part I've kept it about as simple and to-the-point as possible, with zero locally hosted images (aside the ones for my own characters) to help with the loading times on top of the processing time of the scripts which I'm sure are far from optimized. It's by no means a perfect database, and I don't pretend to be a great, or even a good coder, but what was created has served its intended purpose quite nicely, and new features are added as suggestions come in as long as it's within my abilities to add said features. For the time being, I have no real plans of changing the design to make it look less amateur, I'm by no means a web designer, and that's not what I made it for, but, we'll see what the future holds.
