It means he has the odd power to re-arange his atomic structure which allows him to become anything or anyone he wishes. He can 'morph' into anything so long as its a solid, liquid or a gas.
He dislikes magic, not the people using it, just magic because its the only thing that can stop his reformation. You see if he is injured, eaten, crushed etc, his body automaticly reverts to a time when it was in perfect working order. The reason he dislikes magic is because other people can morph him into things he does not want to be, or can stop his reformation all together which would in effect, actually kill him till they took the spell off.
