Description:	Kaytif is a bit of a strange creature. He is a flizard, a species that originally was thought to just be a hybrid between fox and some lizard. The flizard is actually his own species, though. He is closely related to canines, and shares many of the same mannerisms. However, there are a few notable differences. The first, and most striking, is the flizard's long, frog like-tongue which it uses to catch prey. Flizard teeth are duller than normal canine teeth, they are used more for holding prey rather than chewing it. Flizards, like many reptiles, swallow their food whole for the most part. Also unlike most canines, the flizard has a thick muscular tail. Despite their tendency to swallow sentient prey whole, flizards have been integrated into the interstellar community. Although when they were discovered they were only at a primitive level of technology, they now benefit from all the wonders of modern science, especially nano-technology. Kaytif not only has the snake-like digestive system that his species is renown for, but also has self-replicating nanites in his blood stream. They repair damage to his body and in general keep him healthy. The only problem is that the self-replication process is not perfect, and the nanites die after a while. So, Kaytif must it inorganic material for the nanites to process in order to keep themselves supplied. So, while the flizard enjoys eating foxes and wolves, he also quite likes eating small electronics, bits of scrap metal, and really just about anything under the sun. The list of materials that Kaytif can't eat is actually rather short.
